K Frame Snub Superiority

Okay, here's my Model 15:

And my Model 19:

And, since we're counting three inch barrels, here's my Model 547:

I'll have to admit, though, that I carry my J-frames more than the K-frames. My favorite carry snubby, though, is my Colt Agent. Six shots, light weight, and a smooth trigger.

And, since we're counting three inch barrels, here's my Model 547:

That's what I like about TFL. No matter how much caliber war noise and nonsense that goes on, I still learn something new quite often. I don't think I've ever seen a 547 - I had to go look it up. Very nice!

Got mostly J's in snubs but here's my 3, 2 inch K's. The nickel m15 is my favorite but the old pre m10 has a lot of carry time on it and is still belted ever once in a while. The m64 is a police trade in and a good shooter but has not been carried all that much.

Jim, for crying out loud! Stop showing off the 2" 15's! You and Zeb are going to drive me to make unwise financial decisions!

Very cool 547, BTW. The extraction system was truly unique on that.

Did they ever make a 2 inch stainless K frame 15? If so what was it's model number as I'd think that's a cool piece to add to my .38 snub collection!

Here's my favorite--a 2" Model 10-7 that shoots as well as some of my 4"ers.

Thanks for the comment on the 547. It's a definite conversation piece. I got it at a pretty good price from a LGS a couple of years ago. I like the three inch barrel. Short enough to conceal well but the the extra sight radius comes in handy.

The nickel Model 15 is in the barbecue gun class for me. It doesn't see a holster much but its fun to shoot.

Hee hee, count me in too.

13-3 (personally, I don't consider a 3" K frame a snub, but here it is anyway :p):

I have 2 S&W K frame snubbies. The first I got when I was a Private Investigator, a 2 1/2" S&W 66-2. The second, a 3" S&W 65-3, was needed when my wife took the 66-2 for her all around gun. Both have served me and my family very well.
