Just sold the last of my guns

Yep, I've done it too. It stinks. You do what you have to do.
Just wait untill you get back on your feet and decide, "Hey, I'd like to replace some of those guns I sold way back then.", boy will you be surprised at how much they've gone up in value.

I usually keep some extra guns around for that purpose, that way I don't have to sell any that I really like or that are heirlooms. I've sold a few in the past that I miss and I don't want to do that again. Good luck!

We all get down on our luck. Hopefully you have a friend or two who will invite you to shoot with them.

I met a guy, through church, who had lost everything. He is slowly getting back on his feet. In a casual conversation, he mention he missed shooting.

He has been over the house a couple of times, (and like most people that shoot with me, he is definitely a better shot than me) and we go through some ammo.

When I was in the service, I had to sell my first revolver because I needed the money very badly and it was really the only thing we had that was worth anything.

Sorry to hear that Wolverine. Was in about the same boat about 10 years ago. (lost half income and medical bills...severe illness in my wife)

At least you still have two. If that shotgun is a single shot, investigate drop in barrel adaptors. They make them in pistol calibers too. That will give you more caliber options until you can get back up.

Right there with you. Down to three .22 rifles and a .357 revolver. Sold off some sweet guns but I don't look back. Just thinking about rebuilding the collection. If I had to, I could live with a couple inexpensive shotguns.
