Just got my tax return filed........hehe!

With those dowel ramrods make sure there's no grain runout and always grip it as close to the muzzle as you can.

Well I got the GPR in yesterday. I'm happy with it I guess the bore and stock look great, but I'm not sure if the finish is wore or just DIRTY, the face of the hammer (where it contacts the cap) is full of gunk. I'll post a pic of the finish, I'm not sure what to use to try and clean it. Wont be able to get over to my old mans place (the range) till next thursday, but I'm gonna take some video and post it up! That way ya'll can see all my mistakes and constructively criticize me.

That's right! You don't want yore gunn all prissyed up - it's gonna end up lookin thataway anyhow!!

LOL okay then I'll just clean the bore, nipple, and hammer and CHOOT! I assure you this thing will get lots of lead slung out of it ;)

The factory hardwood ram rod is so loose fitting it will fall out if I tip the rifle muzzle down, where can I get another one? I'm not gonna use it as I have a nice range rod, but to me it doesn't look right or correct to not have one in there.

thanks for the link Beagle, but it looks like I need to order the ram rod clip spring and spring screw as I think mine is MIA, why on earth would someone remove them?? No biggie I'll get em ordered, Love this big ole smoke pole. Its been sitting on the coffee table since it got here :D. The ole lady said
"when are you gonna put that thing up?" I said what do you mean it is put up. :D
