Yeah, my last purchase was just because I wanted it.
I went to the last gun show looking to trade a DW PM2 for a smaller carry gun but didn find what I wa looking for at the right price.
So I came home with a SW model 29-3 in like new condition
I did that for years (decades?). Now I have become more rational (and have sold-off a bunch of guns). I decide well in advance of buying anything just exactly what I need. I will only support three different calibers/sizes of ammo.
When I decide that I just can't live without the new Belchfile 500 I lay down and think about for a couple of months. Always works that I talk myself out of it.
BTW, anyone want to buy a lifetime supply of Belchfire 500 ammo?
If you want an obsession that will bring you to tears...try dealing with the dream I have of owning a fine example of each of the Colt snakes -
Anaconda, Cobra, Viper, Diamondback, Python, Boa, King Cobra.
I must say I agree with Teuthis. Acquiring new guns can be an affliction, and I've been broke as long as I can remember hahaha. So, it can get worse, but if you can buy on.
