Jumping in to Loading my own

I bought a chrony main reason for the saftey. I was surprised how different my actual readings were compared to what the book said. It just gives you a peace of mind knowing that load isn't going to blow half your face off.

For pistol, a chrony is a nice second check, but accuracy and recoil will tell you what you need to know.

Case lube: I recommend Hornady one shot.

Case tumbling media

Case polish

Calipers

Tools to adjust dies

Bench

Press mount stuff

Place to isolate scale from bench

Thanks again for all of the helpful insight. I am just waiting on a few more visits from the big brown truck and I will be set up and ready to rock. Picked up a Lynman manual and am getting ready to order a few more odds and ends. Lots of good information coming though, glad I came here before just jumping straight in.

One hint; K.I.S.S.! You're just starting so there's no need to get every conceivable piece of reloading tool manufactured. Ferget "faster, faster, more, more!" Millions upon millions of rounds have been safely assembled with a Lee Loader, just about as simple as it gets. Some things have been recommended that are in reality "extras" and not needed for basic handgun reloading (I loaded 2,961 .44 Magnum rounds w/o case lube. I have carbide dies and they work quite well using them as the directions say) Read your two new manuals, and use common sense...
