Joe Biden Thinks 2 shots is enough

Just did a little photoshop magic for those of you less than entertained by Biden's suggestion women can't handle a rifle and should instead get a double barreled shotgun...

I just watched Biden tell us to do something highly illegal when threatened. Take a shotgun and fire two shots into the air to scare thugs. I thought he knew law???? Waving a firearm is brandishing, a punishable crime! Firing it into the air to intimidate is another punishable crime! What the heck is that all about? A way to identify honest citizens, criminalize them and get us off the streets so the thugs have complete control? Firing shot before the possible threat is even positively identified as a threat? Just shooting because of a sound? WTH???
Will telling the police about Biden telling me to break the law get me off?
 
I think it should be noted that the primary weapons in the Columbine shooting were 12ga. shotguns. One of those shotguns was a sawed-off double barrel.
 
Talked to a guy who isn't into the gun world and bought what Joe said.

He isn't going to take our guns and yes - you don't have to aim a shotgun.

Had a nice chat on what was really up.

Shotguns seem to be the preferred weapon of choice for Vice-presidents. Cheney shot his friend with one so Biden thinks shotguns must be the only solution. Personally, I think firing ANY FIREARM up into the air is a very dangerous practice, against the law in many places and very stupid anywhere! Do you think the local police will be OK with this if you said you were following Joe Bidens advice?:eek:
 
Show him the picture from above Glenn. And while the picture is certainly an exercise in the ridiculous, ask him why Biden thinks women can be in combat, but can't handle an AR-15 which is barely larger, but easier to fire, than an M4...
 
VP Biden did us a favor which we can use and should use.

He acknowledged that we have a need and right to own firearms for self defense. Use it whenever you are in a discussion.
 
In my opinion this is just part of the effort to drive a wedge between what they see as the two different types of gun owners/NRA members. The repeated comments about shotguns and the photo of the Pres shooting skeet (or whatever he was doing) is part of it as well. The constant mention of hunting when they darn well know the 2nd amendment has nothing to do with hunting. We may say he is silly and he does often say stupid things, but this type of comment is part of the larger strategy.
 
Seems to me firing into the air is breaking one of Cooper's Commandments about safely handling a firearm, of being sure your target and what is behind it.

Can't do that if you're firing into the air. Even Hiawatha knew that, IIRC.

Basic safety failures like that get people injured or killed.

It was my understanding Vice President Biden was talking about a break action double barreled shotgun, not even a pump or Semi Auto.

While I could probably get away with shooting a shotgun in my backyard without much risk to a neighbor, I don't think 90% of Americans are fortunate enough to have a backyard large enough to be able to do that.

Plus how is the "incapable woman" (as the anti gun dems portray them) going to reload if they still kick in the door.

He's just an elitist buffoon with an arrogant smile. Like when he said he was surprised to get these questions from parents magazine. Well parents have something more valuable to protect than anyone.

Clyde frog. Unlike Jackson who shot a intruder off the balcony of the White House, he would hide and have the Secret Service take care of the problem with their sub machine guns.
 
So if I hear a bump in the night, go outside and fire blindly in the dark like the VP says, and someone is hurt, do I get a presidential pardon. His VP said to do it.

And if you are his wife, Biden thinks 2 shots in the air are what you need to do. You wonder if all his ridiculous statements are designed as a distraction.
