Jimmy Carter: Sore loser and still anti-America after 25 years

Jimmuh Carter

Momma Carter reportedly said, "Billy drinks too much and Jimmy doesn't always tell the truth".

"Jimmuh" said he worked with Admiral Rickover on the US's first nuclear Submarine. Admiral Rickover said he had never heard of Jimmy Carter.

"jimmuh" had trouble pronouncing the word nuclear (new-klee-err) and prounounces it newk-ii-err. Please don't blame that on the old wonderful Georgia accent of yesteryear.

Well, personally, I owe Jimmy Carter a debt of thanks. It was Jimmy who got me involved in politics. I was in college when he ran and I saw him on the cover of Time magazine. Just his goofy face made me think, "OH NO, THIS GUY IS A HARD CORE GOOBER." I remember reading his interview in Playboy in which he whined about lusting in his heart. I remember when he went on TV in his cardigan sweater with his hand wringing whine about the energy crises saying we have to accept America is no longer great. I remember him stabbing the Shah of Iran in the back allowing the mullahs to take control of Iran and his paralysis when the Embassy was invaded. I remember the disastrous rescue attempt. And I remember the elation I felt when Ronald Reagan was elected President of our great Nation. I loath Jimmy Carter. He is a vile little man who hates my Country. His Presidency is a most detestable chapter in our history. He's a person who makes pond scum look good.

Don't forget his halving of the value of a dollor in order to "fund" his nut case policies that nearly bankrupted the US

Clinton at least was effective. The majority of the legislation passed while he was in office was Republican-inspired stuff, like welfare reform. He could get things done. Sure, he was a lying philandering guy. Sure, he was probably on the payroll of the Chinese. But you could like him.
Carter just had nothing. I cannot recall a single thing he actually did. Most of his presidency was spent reacting to things, like the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and the hostages in Iran. Since leaving office he has spent time cozying up to dictators and denouncing America. He went to Nicaragua and cozied up tot he Sandinistas. He went to N.Korea and cozyed up to those lunatics. Wherever Carter goes he has a sure instinct to take the wrong side. In some ways that kind of consistency is comforting.

Gotta agree with George on Jimmy

I was in boot camp when the hostages were taken in Iran, and I'll never forget the universal sigh of relief that went through most of the Corps when Reagan was elected.
From sucking up to Arafat, to Castro, to Chavez, to Michael Moore, to accepting the Nobel PP (which is really a bloody joke, after all, isn't it?) after the issuing head of the committee said it was offered as a statement of their displeasure with our foreign policy, Carter was without question the biggest POS to sit in the Oval Office.
Even the traitorous, mendacious Clinton can't compare, and there was two of them in office at the same time!

cuate: I agree with the general sentiments contra Carter in this thread, but I believe your reference to Rickover is erroneous. I'd appreciate a link to a reliable source for your information. Jimmy Carter was a nuclear engineer and did serve on a nuclear sub. I recall Admiral Rickover's appearing with Prez Carter publicly; certainly looked like they knew each other.
