Jack Bauer?

EVERY season - 1 of these threads comes up.

Jack's standard gun for the past several years is a 9mm USP compact. Typically, he only uses something else if he picks up someone else's weapon.

Jacks exploits are laughable and thats about it, most tv commando's are that way.

Producers and directors put on what looks cool, not tactics that have anything to do with real field craft nor how real operators think, act and move.

Operators are like shadows on a dark night, tv is well just tv..... Its good for a laught though.

Finally tried to watch "24" this season, couldn't see anything special, also tried "Human Target," more of the same, "CSI," etc.

I like "Criminal Minds," especially where the smart kid has a revolver, and "Fringe" 'cause it's like "X-Files." Mostly watch Beck and O'Reilly - no guns, but a lot of shooting off.:D

OK, we're starting to break over into critique of the show in general, and get away from the firearms aspect of it. As such, that's heading more and more off topic.

It looks like the question has been answered satisfactorily, so I think we'll call this one.
