I've been picked for Federal jury duty!

I need to make an addition to my post. the same week I was called to juror duty, I saw a familiar face. No names, but the gentlemen was a friend of mine. He is president of a progun organization that is a bit right of the NRA. He is WELL KNOWN in the judicial system for his tenacity for 2nd ammendmant rights. I found out after our stint (your are not allowed to converse with other prospective jurors here) that he had been seated on a Jury before. You never know these days
I assume you have filled out your questioner? You report,place will be packed with prospective jurist.the judge will tell you what is going on,civil,criminal,whats involved in all cases. They will then call roll,stand on name called,if you have any reason you cannot serve stay standing per judge instructions. Dress for a full day because they will seat you asap for duty,if you are accepted. Remember this is Federal jury duty,not parking tickets.YOU WILL BE JUDGED BY PEOPLE OF ALL WALKS OF LIFE. Don't look and act like a DUMB A. You would have not been called if you were not a productive citizen of this great country.

Seems to me like you are being given a great opportunity. I rather have enjoyed doing jury duty on the county level.

Until you get picked (or do not) the 2 week period you will have to call in after 5pm nightly, and find out when you have to report. (then wait and see if you get picked).
I was rather fortunate to get picked for a 3 week case my first day.. YAY. My schedule is T-F (9:30-4pm, though Th is to 3pm or so) Make sure you have plenty of coffee if you get picked for a long case!
