It's between these pistols, help me decide!

H&K all the way

:D I have 3 H&Ks. Mark 23, Full USP .45, and Compact USP .45, and I will swear my life by them. I have owned just about all the brands out there, including the ones you listed. I choose H&K for the following reasons, keeping in mind that each shooter does well with what they feel most confortable with.
1. Reliability- Absolutely no mis-feeds or jams, malfunctions or breakage.
2. Durability- Hostile environment finish on every model, resists sweat, corrosion, and H&K markets their USP line to be able to constantly fire +p rounds. (I have done it without issue)
3. Performance- I have the stock night sights, big blades make aquisition of the target in all conditions quick and superior to most all other makes, allows consistent shot groups. Double action is much smoother that many other makes. Allows you to carry cocked and locked, double action on first round to single, and safety is also a decocking device.

These are my reasons, not everyone thinks that the above is true, mine is based off of experience with Colt, Kimber, S&W, Walther, Ruger, Beretta, Glock, Sig Sauer, IMI, and others. I found the H&K line to be superior.

USP .45... then it would be a hard call between the G21 and USP .40. Love the .45, love HKs.

Truly the best advice is that similar to stick's post. Reread it, truly much wisdom in this thinking.

USP .45 fits me. What fits you best IS BEST. Think about it. Try as many as you can before succumbing to the urge to buy. If you pick the one that fits you the best out of those you mentioned, it will be very hard to make a bad decision. Listen to your hand.

Find a gun range that is a dealer of the guns that you listed and has rentals and try them all, but don't attempt to try them all in one day - and take notes of your likes/dislikes. All of the guns that you listed are of very good quality, but only you can decide which one will work best for you. Like test driving a car, car X may be great for your buddy, but uncomfortable or whatever for you, etc.
