I have three daughters, all married to great guys. You're starting a heck of a ride, buddy! It's a beaut! Enjoy every minute with them because, just when you can speak with them like an equal, they up and leave. ;)

Children are truly a blessing. Speaking as an ex-professor (literature) raise her right and teach her everything you can.. in the world to be, she'll need it and thank you for it!

Congratulations to you and your wife. I have two daughters myself -- best thing that ever happened to me!

When that tiny little hand burrows its way into your hand and hangs on tight, you'll be ten-foot tall and bulletproof and you'll feel so much love you'll just think your heart's going to bust right out of your chest.

And when you catch yourself sneaking into her bedroom, just so you can watch her sleeping and breathe in that warm "baby" smell -- mate, you'll be hooked for life and wrapped totally around her little finger. :)

Congratulations! I don't have any kids but I've got a nephew and just found out there's another one on the way. So, I've got a small idea of how you're feeling.

So, have you gotten her a life membership in the NRA yet? :)
