Italians shot by US Troops

The lady said in one of the earlier interviews that they were joking about they were going to wreck if they didn't slow down, before she realized that if she kept saying that, her "there was an assassination attempt" story wouldn't fly if that were the casee.

More media work - showing our troops

This morning my favorite network.......ABC ;) showed a five second clip video of what looks to be a US troop putting the boot to what appears to be a prisoner. You know not a word was said what led to the incident of this fine young middle eastern looking gentleman being arrested in the first place. I just guess he was selling ice cream without a vendors license. I bet that sort of stuff goes on a lot over there. ;) In real world- my guess is he had just either shot at troops or tried to set off a bomb? Just my guess and I can't confirm it at all. The video I saw looked like one weak sort of foot to the mid section of the guy but it wasn't clear if much contact was made. I didn't notice much pain on the ice cream vendors face. Maybe this guy was paid for a double dip and only served a single? ;) I just wanted to point out another victory for the media. They are helping us back home get the picture.............. Yep..... We now know how ruthless our patriot warriors are. Please, someone take the camera away from these inbedded idiots. I can't think why a tank track couldn't on accident run these cameras over and tell the idiots whom are trying to make mountains out of ant hills to go back to the green zone. I understand most so called media spend darn near all their time in there anyhow......hey it's dangerous out there they don't want to get hurt for just a 5 second smear video..... I am just about to boycot American liberal slant media all together. Do I sound upset....? GOOD
I have found peace in uncovering the wrong that media is doing....It doesn't help our soldiers one bit. If the idiots doing this could grasp reality, which I know they won't, could see it makes it more dangerous for our troops. If true wrong is done and one of our troops goes to far then those issues should be handled by his command on the ground from fellow troops, NCO's and the officer's in charge.

OK............sorry for going on but this latest got me fired up again.... ;)

In Italy, 100mph isn't considered speeding - that's probably about the average speed of traffic in downtown Rome.

Only two problems with that mvpel, ( :D )

1. not in downtown rome
2. approaching a military checkpoint.

Not too bright. Lets speed toward this group of nervous soldiers with weapons, who are used to cars blowing up and trying to kill them, and lets not heed any warning to stop. We'll show those stupid americans they can't bully US around.....

Don't know about Rome but...

Rome might be that fast but on the island of Sicily I can't recall doing 100 very much. I was there for a year. The roads were twisty in a lot of areas and if you did 100 it wasn't going to be for long.... Drivers seemed to think most time behind the wheel was a bit of a race and blue knuckles were often noted. ;) I can't remember too many cars of the local populations that weren't banged up or scratched up from previous trips to Grandmother's house.... Too bad these folks forgot they weren't in Kansas - I mean Italy ;)
