I think the tennifer process is absolutely the best "standard" finish on modern weaponary. Of
course, that's just my opinion; and you know
what folk's say about opinions, don't you?
My G29 has a couple of tiny scuffs through the oxide and into the metal. Real itty-bitty ones on the right rear corner of the slide, by the rear sight. You really have to look to see 'em. Guess that'll happen when you drop a 425-lb motorcycle on top of it and send them both sliding down the road at 35-40 mph or so. I know it held up better than the Ruger sixgun in the same bag or even the Tomcat in my leather jacket pocket. Don't try this at home.
