Talk about a 380 with ZZZIIIPPP!!
I'm not sure I'd trust a little sig with that load but I can only imagine the look on the perps face when he realized that all "squirt gun" loads aren't made equal!! The problem remains that most 380s are considered back up guns, and I can just see some square head prosecutor grinning like a moose eating barbed wire when questioning the shooter as to his use of killer mosquito rounds.
As far as I can attest why not a Glock 19 stoked w/ 125 grain JHP at 1300fps?? Easier to handle and a lot less "tricky".
I guess I just can't get past the good old days when people asked me about my carry revolver...A Ruger Speed 6 4 inch, Remington 125 gr JHP... Law enforcement in NC just grinned, patted my little crutch toddering butt on the head and said. "Lord Jesus little man, not serious about it are you??"
And then along came the Glock21 I test fired that had similar recoil and adequate follow up speed when I fired the Glock17 in the same session side by side. My reasoning?? Bigger bullet, proven threat stopper, less recoil, 13 shots instead of 6. Then the dreaded Black Talon 230s, then Federal230 Hydra shoks,
Now a full power 10mm...which is BASICALLY a 357....circle of life...here we go again. 16 rounds of lowly 10mm silver tip trumped the 9mm for me
What it all breaks down to is that in a sticky outdoor situation I would find myself hard pressed to trust a semi auto over a stout Ruger GP100 and a couple of speed loaders against a wild hog..if its a bear, I want my 12 gauge
