Is Keltec P32 Super a good idea?

Common sense should tell people that the vast majority of Kel-Tec P32s work right out of the box.

If any significant percentage of the guns they sell malfunctioned, they would go out of business fixing them for free. Since they are still in business, still aren't charging for such service and haven't raised the price of their guns, one is forced to the conclusion that they are not doing a lot of warranty work.

My chrome P32 went through its break-in period with no hiccups of any kind (FMJ and JHPs). For the record, I shot it just like it came from the factory--no F&B.

One other thing that has given .32s in general a bad name is the fact that the cartridge is semi-rimmed. The rim dimensions vary among the different ammo brands. Some brands are prone to rim locks or other malfunctions and can cause apparent reliability problems. People having reliability problems with .32 Autos should try other types of ammunition before assuming that the gun is at fault.

From all accounts Silvertips seem to be reliable in nearly all of the P32s.
