IS IWB carry possible ...

I was 285 now 230, I carry a large beretta 92fs IWB and it's the most comfortable way to do it.

Use a wide leather belt, plastic is no good lol.

I had a different pistol for a few years earlier and, with it, accidental magazine release would happen a few times.
I never had that problem since I switched to the beretta
 
Since you have to wear a cover garment with IWB or OWB, I decided with my FOG physique to just go with OWB and a Galco Matrix holster for my Glocks. Big old floppy shirts, fleece vest or a non tactical looking material vest cover the gun just fine.

I found IWB uncomfortable even with bigger pants.
