Is it just me?

I always have project or two going. I keep a large amount of reloaded ammo for each cartridge, along with the reloading supplies. I buy primers 5000 at a time, powder 8# at a time, and bullets 500 at a time. For pistols, primers are at 10k and most of the bullets are cast. I have 2 fifteen gallon barrels full of corn cob ingots of lead and 1 fifteen gallon of barrel of wheel weights. I worked for good year for 7 years. I also have spam cans of 7.62x39 and 7.62x54R stored.

The shortages dont seem to effect me. By the time my stock starts to dwindle a little, the shortage is over.

Don't get apathetic , and forget to defend your right to bear arms ! You do have a dog in this fight , their plan is to wear us down , don't fall for it . If you quit in the middle of a fight , you get your butt whipped , don't you ?

I don't pay much attention to it. I stocked up pretty good around 1994 and 2008. In between those years I bought a little extra now and then. I have suspended my regular target practice weekends for now till things settle down. As far as reloading supplies I am good to go, only thing extra I would like to have is some primers.

What worries me is I'm 66. Hell, I could be dead by the time this craziness ends. And no you can't have any of my guns. Gonna be buried with em.:D

. Is it just me or is the current climate taking the enjoyment out of firearms for others as well?

Not me, I wont let the idiots win. I'll keep enjoying my shooting sports and increase it where ever possible.

I was ready for this droubt, even so I still pick up an odd reloading component when I find something.

Don't let them get you down.

DON'T LET THEM WIN.

NEVER GIVE UP.

The "current climate" hasn't affected me at all. Matter of fact I just picked up a Savage Model 12 .22-250 for my 14yr old daughter. We're excited about handloading for it and taking it to the range:) No way I willl allow the anti-gunners to rob me of my joy/passion for firearms (bolt action rifles in particular).

The Green party in Australia has been freaking out because firearms puchases have increased since all the bans of a few years ago - there are more licenced firearms owners NOW, than there were prior to the ban. I just get more determined as they apply the pressure ...

Tiki.

We as responsible gun owners need to keep our heads out of the sand. The politicians have taken so much from us in the past 30 years that WE have let happen. I enjoy guns as much now as I did 6 years ago.
But just who is to blame for the current conditions and the war against gun owners that’s going on?
No one but ourselves.
How many of you out there didn’t vote in the last election? You don’t need to answer that but if you didn’t then you’re the reason.
How many of you don’t belong to the NRA, the one group that does more to protect our rights than anyone else even though I don’t agree with some of their decisions. If you’re not a member than don’t complain.
How many of you have not written to your congressmen and senators telling them to go against the Presidents attack on our freedom? If you haven’t then why not?
If you don’t get up off your back side then you’re the reason were in the state we are in. People are going crazy right now buying everything on the shelves.
Why?
Because they are afraid of what is happening and can happen. Don’t set around complaining about the way things are. Get up and do something about it. You have a key board, look up your state senator and congressman and send them an e-mail asking them to protect your rights and the constitution as its written.
And if all you do is set on your but and complain don’t be surprised when they come to your door and take way your freedom.
I apologize for getting up on my soap box, but I am tired of hearing people complain and doing nothing about it.
