Is it just in Vegas? AR pistols out of stock.

My club had already been sued once by a neighbor who lives beyond the end of the rifle range and found too many bullets on her property. We were forced to dig the rifle range much deeper, lowering the target boards and build the backstop higher, plus a hefty increase in dues to cover it.
These guys with their 'shorties' cant keep their rounds on target at 25 yards, let alone 200 so you end up with rifle bullets flying every which way except into the berm. We already considered a 'rested shooting only' policy for the rifle range after the boom in assault rifles, that failed in the vote, but I think it's time to revisit that subject.
I'm very concerned we are going to have more legal trouble or worse.
Please shoot safely.

Again. Why do gun owners want to ban guns they feel they don't like? I started to made this AR 15 pistol in 2000. dedicated RRA lower with 2 stage trigger. 7.5" Bushie upper. 1st Geb Gubsmoke pistol buffer, Smith Ent.break.

The expired Clintonista era AWB DID prohibit pistols over a certain weight, POST BAN AR-15 Pistols after September 13, 1994

Remember this definition of a Semi Automatic Assault Pistol as the crime bill defines it:
A Semi-Auto pistol with an ability to accept a detachable magazine can not have two (2) or more of the following features:
1.an ammunition magazine that attaches to the pistol outside of the pistol grip.
2.a threaded barrel capable of accepting a barrel extender, flash suppressor, forward handgrip or silencer.
3.a shroud that is attached to, or partially or completely encircles the barrel and that permits the shooter to hold the firearm with the non-trigger hand without being burned.
4.a manufactured weight of 50 ounces or more when the pistol is unloaded. a semiautomatic version of an automatic firearm.

Any of you old farts remember the skeletonized AR pistols that were out there?

I saw PeggySue posted this twice. However, I haven't seen even one post calling for the ban of AR pistols. Why do you think I or any of us want AR pistols banned?

If your below the belt jab about arguing semantics with someone that both supports and opposes the 2nd amendment was aimed at me, you missed. I don't oppose the Second Amendment. I support it, completely and wholeheartedly. As the great-grandson of a law professor and the great-great-great-great ... grandson of a Supreme Court justice, I simply believe that the "fix" for bad laws is not to ignore them, but to face up to them and try to get them changed. I've already been actively involved in one action that resulted in getting an old state law repealed, and I'm in the process of filing a lawsuit against my town over a local ordinance that contravenes the Second Amendment.

In other words, I back my words with actions. If the United States is to ever have any hope of becoming again a nation of laws, we need more people willing to take action rather than whine about how bad

LOL! I can see why you feel your argument is beyond reproach, your credentials (or your predecessors) anyway, certainly give you all the credibility in the world.
As far as taking action, that's great, thank you and keep up the great work! Don't however, assume you are the only one. The effective ones never toot their own horns (or the horns of others past), they usually turn out to be the real whiners.

YEAAA.... cuz I am sure it was only guys with AR pistols and AR's doing that... not Bubba's trying to bore sight deer rifles and have no idea where the rounds are going.

I went to an outdoor range yesterday, the owner of the range sells reloads. he had just started making 300BLK reloads and asked me to "test" some for function.

50yards, 7.5" barrel, reflex sight, hornaday 125 vmax, NO SIG BRACE

MOA? no, of course not....but who isn't hitting a 25yd target? it was outshooting the guy next to me with his mini14
