Is Bump Firing Dangerous?

This whole thing reminds me of the child who was handed a full auto Uzi machine pistol, and when the trigger was pulled, the thing blasted up, and disintegrated the kid's head.
I believe that the parents who paid for that Darwinian fiasco sued the guy for doing what they asked him to and taking their money.

You'd be better off with a bump stock. You have far more control of where your rounds are going vs. bump firing from the hip.

I used to go to range in Illinois that had a quarry to shoot into. They used to allow bump fire but have since put an end to it.

My only concern for danger with bumpfiring

There’s a bumpfire video I made on my YouTube channel where I got a stovepipe during bumpfiring my SKS, but with a live round. My concern there was that the round could have potentially been slammed in such a way that the primer would be struck and cause the bullet to go off outside the chamber. Which would obviously be very dangerous.
