Intro quality spot scope, etc.

I concur with mr. Willikers. Buy used. Just make sure the tripod mount works with the scope.

And it is important as you may know that the scope be stable- any jiggle or movement is disruptive.

Anticipating the ability to see bullet holes at 300+ yards for this money is very satisfying.

Just zeroing n my 10/22 last night- so nice to scope it and adjust in short order.

I have to thank you for this suggestion. Initially I did not give it much thought because running around to thrift stores and church bazaars strikes me as the sort of thing someone with a lot of extra time would do, i.e. not me.

However, I hopped on the local craigslist and found a couple that I ended up buying for $20 that are much more stable and work as well as I need them to work.
