Im in your corner on this, I have apprehensions concerning the "reporting". I have no doubt you will acquit yourselves with dignity. My concerns aside, you are taking the correct action, one that needs to be done. If all of us "pro-2nd" did likewise at every opportunity, using tact, respect, and the truth we would go a along way to helping win this battle we find ourselves in.....there is a phrase in latin that i cant remember in its original wording....but the english translation means...."dont let the bastards wear you down"...go get em....fubsy.
 
Okay, your heart is in the right place BUT...big potential for misusing you here. Clinton often says that "its not the members of NRA, its the radical leadership. Lots of the members support 'common-sense' gun control". Dennis, I'm afraid that is where YOU might come in..."See, even some NRA members were there supporting our agenda"...
Why don't you go and bring a pro-2nd amendment sign or something?
 
Steve and Dennis,

The goals of your San Antonio chapter of MMM does not follow the MMM national's direction. Your group sounds much more in line with the Second Amendment Sisters mission statement.

On the National level, the MMMs have all but abandoned the safety aspect, they are concentrating on licensing and registration of all gun owners. The SAS, on the other hand, is primarily founded on the principle of safety, and of course the preservation of our 2nd amendment rights and to defend yourself with a firearm. The key is to reduce all forms of violence, not just gun violence. The SAS believes this starts in the home with responsible parenting and education. The cause of gun violence is not the tool, but the lack of respect toward others and the contempt shown by a person.

Dennis and Steve, get the SAS involved in your area. It may take away members from the anti-gun rights MMM crowd! You can reach them at www.sas-aim.org or calling toll free at 877-271-6216. The SAS is based in Texas, so you have a good start there!
