Inexpensive Handgun

Yet another vote for a used S&W Model 10, 4" barrel. Easy to handle, reliable, great "pointability", and something your wife can use with the proper training. It goes "bang" when you pull the trigger - if not, pull it again!!

In your price range, a Ruger P-95 is an EXCELLENT choice!
I was at a gun show just this last weekend, and there were 2-tone, NIB P-95's going for $285...blued ones were $10.00 less.
You will end up with a good, quality hand gun, with a company that has one of the best warranties out there.It is easy to take down and clean....
It is a 9mm....probably the least expensive ammo available(after .22's), and it will be very comfortable to shoot.
Check them out before you buy......may be a very good answer for you.:)
