I bought a 42 Colt in much the same fashion. Mine has a few nicks and battle scars. Imo it makes it all the more interesting. Nice buy, great luck with it.
I'm not an impulse buyer anymore--too many kids to schlep to various places have time to just "drop in" on my favorite local haunts--but I'd love to blunder into that.
