Impact Guns Price Gouging

I don't like what's going on, but I don't blame them for asking more for products that are in demand. If an AR was important to you, you should have bought one a couple of months ago. There were plenty for everyone that wanted one and at reasonable prices. I almost bought another one to go with the one I have, but I didn't and it's nobody's fault by my own. I will not pay the extreme prices that they are gong for now, but if they can get those prices then good for them.

The one thing that has bothered me is this goofy owner of one of the LGS. He's almost giddy to the point of stupidity that this opportunity presented itself so that he could make more money. This thing that presented this opportunity for him to make more money may eventually put him out of business and he doesn't seem smart enough to realize it.

Yea I get it . That does not mean I have to like it , but I will take advantage of it .;)

I bought three this year . Boy I'm sure glad I did . Really I kinda went gun crazy this year oops last year :D I bought like nine guns last year . Like you guys are saying and I do not like . If prices go over 4k for an AR I will sell one and buy more guns with the money .

;)

Refusing to buy from stores you don't like is perfectly capitalistic, just ask everyone who boycotted S&W and Ruger for the longest time.

In these situations I like it when the store puts a limit on the amount you can buy . It gives a few more people a chance to get some .

They are doing what they think is best, which is their right. I like that too.

Question number one: What firearms are specifically raised by $1000?

Answer: It's a moot point since the OP painted a broad brush on "price increases" on Impact Guns. Sounds to me it's borderline drive-by company bashing.

Question number two: How many here honestly permanently refused to buy from a Dodge/Chrysler dealership after they sold the PT Cruiser up to $5,000 over Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price? How 'bout when Chevrolet dealers did the same with their Corvette? Or Ford when they came out with the Thunderbird?

Answer: By looking at all the new American cars being sold all these years, I'm willing to bet very, VERY few.

Question number three: Is the practice of increasing prices, no matter how fast and high above Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price, illegal?

Answer: NO, IT IS NOT.
