I will mate it looks like now its either going to be late March or mid May... There is no flights in April on the dates that we want. So its back to the drawing board for me.
The only legal hunting in PA during that time of the year is Spring Turkey. You might consider some fishing. The trout fishing can be very good if you know where to go. You can check the season dates if you go to the PA Game Commission web site.
In May some folks will begin to hunt groundhogs out in the country. It is fun if you have a place to go. You won't be hunting state game lands for ground hogs. You'll have to seek out farmers and get permission to hunt on their property.
You may want to join www.predatormasters.com . There are quite a few people there from the northeast who enjoy whistlepig (groundhog) hunting. I am willing to bet someone would love to take you along. That is just the way I have seen most shooters take care of visitors.
well my hog hunt offer is year around so if you can handle the heat and can make it down here you are still invited... Just let me know when you are sure so I can have it set up.

myfwc.com is the state fish and game regs...
Hog is year around as is coyotes... For private land no license is required...
I am limited as to where we can use rifles a little more use of shotguns at times. August will be sweltering hot in the day and just a bit more comfortable at night. If you want to try it here we can try to build a corn pile to get he hogs to stick to one area and possibly get a dozen or more possums and dillars killed to make a yote food pile too.

I don't know if you can find it in Australia any easier than you can in the States, but Leffe Brun is a personal favorite of mine. Problem is its based out of Belgium so you don't see any around here. I don't know if they might have better pickins down in Australia, but I figure its worth a shot to bring it up. I doubt you would be disappointed with it..
I can't complian about free booze! May not be as good as Jack Daniels but I have never tried "rye" booze so what ever it is will be new to me unless he shows up with american bourbon labels... Corn liquor aged in glass jars less than 30 days is actually my favorite short of a well made Margarita made with the $125 per fifth Patron and grand mariner and homemade lime mixers... Them margaritas are the absolute nectar of the gods along side the "royal oil" of some of my girlfriends of yesteryear!
I also like to hunt so this is on topic?
