I'm amazed with my Turkish guns.

I shoot in a informal pistol league on Thursday nights. Most of the guys are shooting tricked out Glocks, Kimbers ect.
I kick most of their butts. There are a few that are actually skilled. But I shoot more accurate.
They were all ewwing and aweing, What gun is that??? Who makes that.
Is that a Walther??

Then I told them. No its a $299 Turkish import..
Oh..... they said.
hehehehehe

ROFLMFAO :D

I have two Yildiz O/U shotguns, a Weatherby semi 20 ga, and a Canik S-120.....all Turkish made guns, and have been more than happy with all of em.

I have three Walther PP clones produced by MKE back in the late 1970's-early 80's. One in .32 and two in .380. They run just as well as my Manurhin and Walther made PP's but cost me half as much. Regards, Gary

Love my Canik 55-c Stingray. I paid $350ish OTD for mine. Great shooter, good trigger. Has gone step for step with my 92FS. Has 1/5th of the rounds through it as my 5000+ round beretta, but still 0 failures.

Yes, I do not have one but I have held many, and have heard that they are nice, cause I'm looking at a Turkish gun now. The feel of them is great and the shoot great.

My Canik made, Tristar T-120 is a very nice Gun. Kinda wish I had the P-120 for the extra weight. Mine came with a factory mustache comb and 2 mags :)

I want you to know that you have opened a new can of worms for me. I have seen many great deals on some of these guns but since I wasn't familiar with them, I would just pass. Still not familiar with them but reading up on them now.

I am supposed to pick up my used Beretta Cheetah next week and now you have me thinking "new TriStar C100" or used Cheetah?

Viper. You need both but if the price is good for the Cheetah I would get that. No telling how long they'll be making them and the quality is better than the Tristar.

That said, I love my Tristar T-120. Once I start hand loading I intend to get a beefier recoil spring and shoot nothing but +p+ ammo through it. Should be a good test for the alloy frame.

I like my Tisas compact... It's a hard-to-find .40... The 9mm's are MUCH more available. There's a decent inside-the-factory video on YouTube... Their equipment is relatively current and their guns are NATO-approved.

Beretta is making the Cheetah's again. But new they run in the 750.00 range. The used one I have on hold is a 84F for 449.00 which is the double stack. Coming home next week unless I go there and make the mistake of looking at the used gun counter where I may find something I like more for the money.

I passed on a new looking H&K P2000sk with box, manuals 2 mags for $549 the last time I was there because it was a .40 caliber which I don't particularly like.
Had it been a 9mm, I would be home with me.;)

I'll be the first to post negatively in this thread because some men just want to see the world burn.
I have a TP9. don't really care for it. I purchased it because I firmly believe that some budget guns can perform just as well as other, more expensive models and I wanted to see if it could live up to the hype. the ergonomics are amazing but I had serious issues with it failing to return to battery after every shot. a trip back to century and it fixed the reliability issues, but I just can not shoot this gun accurately. the trigger has not loosened up with use and is a bit heavier than what I am used to, nor feel comfortable using in a SD gun. I am currently looking to sell mine. I was actually getting excited over the TP9SA and the stingray, but now, I would be leery to try another Canik product.

There are guns that you just don't shoot well. I have a XDm that I just shoot low all the time. A S&W CS9 that I didn't shoot well. Gor rid of my SR1911 for the same reason.

On the bright side, I can shot all these pretty well. CZ75 P-01, Walther PPS, Sig P239, Glock 27.

Seven High, to answer your question yes. I have customized mine with after market parts and used colt springs through out and all parts fit it.
