If you were buying a shotgun for 3 gun....

I dont travel I just shoot when my local range runs 3-gun. I dont have any problem using my 30" BPS and hanging with any of the other guys. Im very familiar with the gun and have dumped many 1000's of rnds down the tube. If I was looking to cut 1/10ths of a second maybe I would invest in one of the guns you suggested. TBH half the guys will miss at least one of the shots and it gives me a huge edge by just being on target.
 
Plain Benelli M4 is by no measure suited for 3-Gun. Too heavy, no barrel options, and to get it refined for 3-gun is well above what it would cost to get the ones below.

I would recommend you try (shoot and compare the feel) of the 1100, SLP, Versamax, M2, and 930JM. Then decide.
