If guns are outlawed....

Will we get monthly copies of "Zipguns & Ammo?"

Will there be a TFL thread asking for the best source of slower burning matchheads for higher velocity big game hunting when using seamless tubing for barrel?

Will there be a campaign against knives that are pointy? Assault knives? Will Rosie be screaming that she saw one that even folded up to fit in a pocket?

In the news today:
Another battle erupted today between a motley gang of terrosts who call themselves "Americans for Freedom" and our saviour UN forces. This is another instance where peace hating gangsters try to live illegal lives.

From the rebel stronghold of Texas, an as yet unidentified rebel going by the name of ****intex stated that "we just want to be left alone". He also made numerous remarks about the mythical "Constitution".

President For Life Gore stated that he is against these actions and urged everyone to do their patriotic duty and buy Chinese. Gore went on to say "Everyone knows that the government know what is best, yet these brigands continue their onslaughts in the name of a nonexistant piece of paper", and "rest assured when we ever figure out how to cross the Red River, we will punish these baby killers".

This all started when PFL Gore illegalized dangerous weapons in the hands of non party members, creating a wide spread revolt started by members of a previously unheard of TFL.com.

In other news:
It's a lucky day, taxes are being lowered to an all time low of 82%.

IF they banned guns there'd be war, and I'd be happily on the front lines. I don't want that though, and hopefully neither do they. After Waco it's hard to say thugh.

I do hope we do not go to war. This place would look flat, charred and pockmarked shortly after hostilities start.

That said, some alternatives are worse.

I would agree there, but will the Regular Military Forces support the "Government"? I have read articles were the "troops" were ASKED if they would fire on any civilians who REFUSED to give up thier guns!! Just seeing how someone asked this question would be cause for serious concern. Oh and most of them said no, but how many would really fire on civilians if it really came down to it??? That is indeed hard to tell.

I am sure that "UN Peace Keepers" Would have no second thoughts about murdering Americans Wholesale.

That is my 2 cents

If your looking to government for the solution, you obviously don't understand the problem.

If they ban guns wholesale, I am moving from the People's Republic of MA to Texas, pronto. Up here, I'm sure everyone will be more than happy to forfeit their rights, much like those scroats in england and australia.

Make sure you let me in before you slam the gates, huh? I'll bring ammo to spare. :)

If anyone were to start hacking up and slaughtering Americans on American soil. You better believe there is only one correct answer.

And when you ask a soldier if they would fire on civilians. Did you ask them American civilians...

There are still states where people still have common sense. People need to wake up and stop listening to the sheeple...

I don't think these morons are stupid enough to do an outright ban, The consequences are to great and they know it. They will just keep nitpicking until its just to much a hassle to own and to prohibitive to go shoot a gun. They can only have an idea what really is out there in personal arsenals and I don't think they really want to see how ugly people can get......
Just my thoughts on the subject, while whistling Dixie

I have a feeling that when they TRY to take our guns, they won't send American troops because they know they won't get anywhere. They will probably send in UN troops, gathered from other countries, that don't speak a lick of English, nor will they care about freedom. :-(

Many people would call such thinking extremist, but I don't think it is. I think being ready for it is just sensible. Living in terror of it every day is stupid though, anxiety will get us nowhere.

History teaches us though, that few things are really impossible. There were people in Rome that thought the republic would last forever, then Caesar took over. People in Germany never thought Hitler would go so far as he did. The Czars of Russia never thought the people would revolt and defeat them, etc. Living as though nothing wild can happen just leaves you unprepared. We obviously can't be prepared for everything, but the things we know about we can at least try to be. Trouble will ALWAYS be prepared for you, but how often will you really be prepaired for it? Why do people think others are extremists simply because they choose to be ready for events that are beyond most people's ability to react? Ever see those flood victims or tornado victims on TV saying, "We never thought this could happen to us!". The ones that did had shelters and got in them. This is no different.
