Idea for a new rifle, what do you think?

Rotary, pressurized, conveyor belt driven powder horn with inverted frizzen and battery-op ball drop?

No? dang.

Why the obession over the en bloc clip? Why handicap yourself for tac reloads? (You already have a huge handicap with reloading with the bullpup design).

I still think you would get farther with my idea of turning the Browning BAR Mk II in .308 into an "urban rifle." However, I'm biased.

Because KS, I'm not trying to build the Ultra Battle Assault Tactical Omega End of the World Gun. For that I would take my FAL. But this is something short, light, handy, and tough. Shorter size than a Marlin 30-30 only firing a better round.

And this would be faster to reload than other bullpups. You don't have to remove the magazine, just shove in a fresh one. And if absolutly neccesary, I will make the gun with a mag cutoff that would leave the mag in when you open the bolt and you could still stick more rounds in it.

And the en-bloc isn't an obsession, but it is the best way to make a bottom ejecting bullpup that I can think of. And I think that it would be fun. So there. :p

Pics e-mailed to George, I just hope they came out okay. It took me an hour to get the damn scanner to work.

Correia, O.K., I think I'm on the same page, but I'm not an engineer nor do I play one on the Errornet. How does one insert new rounds into weapon ("top off tank") during a tac load with en bloc clip in place? I tac load on a bullpup is darn hard enough.

I like mag out in front of me so I can look at BG instead of fiddling with gun. However, that was way I waz trained.

I'll look at pics when available. No sense throwing water on the flame of a creative spark.

You don't like my BAR idea? Well, I guess I'll run with it if not stolen by flower-shirted gun rag writer (now for funding???).
