I'd like S&W to get it together and make...

I'd like to see (since we appear to be stuck with all stainless guns for the forseeable future) them to Eighty-six that tacky brushed stainless finish (looks like circa 1977 stereo equipment)

I couldn't agree more. That finish shows scuffs and dirt very easily.

I'd like to see BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s. Mike, you're sure a die hard.

First I'd like to see them start trying make lightweight revolvers with cylinders the same color as the frame, then...

1. a break top - 5 shot 45ACP w/ 3" full lug barrel and NO PORTING

2. K frame 5 shot 10mm, 4 " barrel w/ full underlug and NO PORTING

3. J frame 9mm, 3" full lug barrel

4. reissue the model 60 w/ 3" barrel and adjustable sights - been looking for a used one for wifey in the local shops a while now - she ain't gittin mine!

Although I'm not a fan of the brushed finish, the finish on my 686-5 snubbie is pleasing to my eye. It is quite soft and subtle compared to some I've seen. You can barely see the tell-tale "streaking" that is so evident in most brushed stainless guns. I would describe it as a semi-gloss.
Maybe it's just my eyesight!!

I'd like to see all revolver manudacturers finish their guns with somrthing like Glock's Tenifer. I like a dull military style parkerized look. Nothing shiny anywhere on the gun. And rubber grips! Wooden grips on a pistol are an abomination!

"And rubber grips! Wooden grips on a pistol are an abomination!"

No no no...rubber belongs on fast cars and faster women....not on fine old Smith revolvers...particularly blue ones.:D

...I LIKE the idea of a 610 "Mountain Gun"...kudos to G33!!!
I'd ALSO like to see some of the BLUED revos make a return...as well as a K- or L-Frame 9mm using moon clips for the IDPA crowd...come to think of it, MORE "Mountain Guns", in ALL chamberings!!!....mikey357
