I'd like S&W to get it together and make...

A Titanium M12 with the HiViz front sight

A Titanium Bodyguard

A 3" Titanium .22WMR w/round-not slabsided barrel like current kitgun!

A 5 shot .45ACP

A 3 in (full lugged heavy barrel) blued N frame 44 special with L framed size RB grip.

Which leads to a question. Will a 3in M-29 barrel fit on a M-24 ?

A gun, ANY gun, not made under the spectre of the agreement.
Surely not a pun on Alchemy Arm's mysterious Spectre. It seems that very few people here have ever heard of it---let alone fired it.

One thing's for sure: it'd have both Glock and 1911 partisans scratching their heads to the bone in wonder.

Perhaps one of the few SA handgun designs that S&W has yet to nail the right to produce an imitation of.

Or does it need one?

I'd like to see (since we appear to be stuck with all stainless guns for the forseeable future) them to Eighty-six that tacky brushed stainless finish (looks like circa 1977 stereo equipment) and go back to a satin bead-blast or bright polish. Yeah, I know it's more time-intensive, but it looks a darn sight less tacky... The brushed stainless looks so... so... well, Ruger. :p

"FORGET THE "AGREEMENT". IT"S HISTORY--MOVE ON!!"

Nasty head in the sand attitude -- if you can't see it, it must not exist, right?

A dormant agreement doesn't mean a dead agreement.

I wonder why otherwise seemingly sensible people either can't, or won't, understand that?

We have reached our quota of "agreement" posts in this thread.

Please confine yourselves to matters technical.

A model 625 4" with the old blue/black finish, with Hogue Pau Ferro grips, under $500 - and it would be sold in a store that could carry, and display, whatever merchandise it chooses to.

More .44 Mountain Guns. I haven't been able to find any locally. I'm afraid if they ever make another run of them they'll have those gawdoffal front sights that Smith's producing now on thier kit guns.

Pappy John,

Tell me about it; those Tru-Glo fiber optic sights sure look sweet from behind the gun... and positively hideous from every other angle. I wish there was a way to get them to work without being so, well, plug-ugly.
