I won the lottery (Not really) Ammo Walmart

I have been checking 4 differant Wal-Marts for 22 LR bulk packs for the last 5 weeks. This morning I hit pay dirt. They had stocked 5 boxes overnight, I took 4 and left 1 for the next guy.
 
Elvishead, I had a similar experience a few weeks ago. I was visiting friends in Tucson, decided to do some shooting with them, and walked into a local WalMart. No 9mm, no .38 spec. So, I asked (not expecting an affirmative answer) if they had any 357 and the clerk said "sure" and pointed to some Remington 125 gr. 357. I bought a box and fired it that afternoon. Wow, that stuff is hot! But fun to shoot! At 15 yards it was shooting about 3" lower than the 158 gr. 38 special I'd been shooting from my 686. However, every round was going into the same hole so I didn't care.
 
then i must of really hit the lottery today ....went to wally world today and they just got in 4 cases of 550 packs (22lr),I took 1 case and was happy ....now if they would just get in some .45, or.40.
 
Hit the jackpot at Wally World this morning on the way in to work: They must've had 1000+ rnds of 50-cnt Blazer Brass on the shelves. Took 300 (6 boxes) for myself, and left the rest for other folks.
 
I live in middle tn and ive been to 4 different wal marts and none of them have ammo for handguns. out of the four one had 2 boxes of 25 acp and one box of 357 mag. its rediculus lol
 
In North MS. i've had little problems finding ammo, only .45. luckly i was there shopping a few days ago and they had a couple 250 rd. bulk packs bought 2 of the 3.
 
I checked one of the local WalMart's one early morning last week to find some fairly limited fresh stock after waiting and watching for 3-4 weeks. I only bought a box each of .9, .40, .45 and left several boxes of each for the next guy that's also been lurking regularly for some to come in.
 
got lucky yesterday. Brand new shipment at my local wally world. I bought 7 boxes of blazer brass 40 and 4 boxes of bb 9mm. Then I found a guy on craigs list that sold me 200 rounds of 40 for $50 100 of it was nib winchester super x subsonic jhp. Oh yea!!
 
keep your ears pealed for local gun shows there is always bulk ammo there. i even found one here last week that had 30 06 amor piercing so i got some oh ya
