I too got a bit confused with "trapdoor Ruger" Since I own a couple Ruger 77's with the blind floorplate. Never knew it was new or obsolete..
That is a very nice rifle, to large a caliber for me since I just hunt whitetails bit a nice find nonetheless Congrats and Merry Christmas to you!!!
