Good morning all...

Just got in to work. First thing I did this morning was go to the polls; I voted like a gun owner -- GWB and pro-self defense congressional candidates.

Hope you did too!!!

Neal

I cast my vote for my firearms, the Constitution, and GWB at 7:20am EST (Florida)

Now the wait begins...

Darryl

I was the 12th person to vote at my precinct. W all the way and a smattering of Repubs and Libertarians on down.

Vote early and often!
Go Bush!

Been there done that! :D

My first time voting!

Try to take away my gun...and you will see my 2nd Amendment Right in ACTION!!! -Me

The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crime. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." Thomas Jefferson

Voted two weeks ago. Was in the process of moving so got it in early. GW for pres. Lightfoot for Sen. mix bag of lib's & repub's on state.

The debate is not about guns,
but rather who has the ultimate power to rule,
the People or Government.

I'm from VA, which will go to Bush no matter what I do. So I voted for Browne. Maybe I can help bring them a bit out of the margins so they'll get heard for a change. I still voted for Allen though, I promised Robb that I'd do my best to boot him if he voted for the president's last "Crime" bill, and he did. Payback's a B$@! ain't it Robb? We'll see tonight if all those adds about gun control worked for or against him.

That's what scares me though. A campaign chooses its add content carefully. They don't spend that kind of cash on something unless they think it'll increase the number of votes they get. In VA, both senatorial candidates were talking about how they were for "sensible gun control". The fact that they thought that would help them, based on the best info they could get is disturbing. It tells me that the mainstream of political America is moving away from us. We've got our work cut out if we don't want to be on the wrong end of the stick at the end of this. For better or worse, the mainstream will always get what it wants eventually. Any ideas how we can make sure that that includes an armed populace? It would really suck to see the freedoms that so many died to gain, destroyed by the flawed premise that disarmament would make the country safer.

Short answer: Yes. I voted like a Gun Owner.

Used early voting to vote for Bush, my A-rated Republican Senator and A-rated Republican Congressman.

Voted Libertarian for the remainder of the candidates in any race where the Libs fielded a candidate.

I was the 34th person to vote in my precinct. I struck a blow for freedom. My vote went to almost all the candidates endorsed by the NRA and GOA. There were a couple thatI could not vote for for one reason or another.

I of course voted for GeeWubbya.

Yes, I did - two weeks ago. Texas is cool - early voting is easy and encouraged. Wish I could vote again today. :)

My wife and I were the first ones in line this morning at 6:45. As soon as the polls opened, we voted. We didn't just vote, we voted for our gun rights. We didn't vote for someone who was marginally pro-gun, we went all the way 100% pro-gun. I was amazed at the ammount of Libertarian candidates on the ballot. I voted straight lib with one exception. I'll leave it in the air who the exception was, but I now feel vindicated. My wife who brought me into the (L) camp, voted straight ticket (L) with no exceptions. She didn't even walk into the booth. She just took her ballot, penciled in the top, and stuck it in the box. I love that woman. If you live in a swing state, you do not have the luxury of voting anyway but Bush/Cheney. I do. My wife gave you your protest vote, now you go out and make sure Bill Jr. doesn't win.

Voted for Bush/Cheney, and Republican U.S. Senator and Congress (Hutchinson/Brady). Voted Libertarian the rest of the way down where a Libertarian was in the race, Republican otherwise.

I suspect we're going to see a lot of TFLer's voting this way. I'm gonna change my screen name to "MeToo".

As of 7:35am, 57 of the 270 registered voters in my lil farm town voted. Repub and Lib outnumber Dems 3:1 :D

We locals were pumped, boisterous and having a fine time...the new immigrant yuppies looked fearful and sullen. A great way to start the day!

GO VOTE

I voted GW Bush for Pres., Hutchinson and Ramsley Farley for Congress(hopefully he will unseat the anti-gun Chet Edwards) and 100% pro-gun the rest of the way.

I'm in Texas, where GWB will win big. So I voted for Harry Brown. For U.S. House, it was Ron Paul. Otherwise, wherever a DemocRAT was opposing a Republican, I voted Republican. Wherever a race had NO DemocRAT running, I voted Libertarian.

HankB - I voted much the same way you did. I was amazed at how many Libertarians there were "down ballot" particularly in the judges races. Wouldn't it be a hoot if some of them actually won?
