Try suggesting a cookout/shootout for the fourth of July. You can have an open carry barbecue. Have some steel plate competitions. Add some time challenge events. Finish the stages with a "fun" reactive target of some kind. When it starts to get dark you can end with some fireworks and maybe even shoot a propane tank from a grill. It could be alot of fun. Rent a moonwalk for the kids and set up an easy shooting gallery with .22s for the wives and older kids.
