I think I'm done building my BCM.

It's been a long and expensive road but I think that this will be the final configuration for my BCM.

Yeah, just wait until the next time you see something you must have, then that will be the "final configuration"

Just wait you still don't have a tac light and still don't have any magnification.

Money can still be spent:cool:

Nice rifle BTW, top quality!

It has a Stream Light TLR3 on the left rail that I may upgrade to a TLR1 soon. Also I just installed a B.A.D A.S.S ambi selector on it the other day. It has a full size lever on the left and a stubby lever on the right. Its a nice piece of kit, it is machined from bar stock. As far as total cost goes I have mentally blocked myself from adding it all up. lol

Well done, how's the weight? The BAD ambi safety should be on every AR made. My M4gery is almost identical. I don't run a light or ambi mag release, and use a Matech buis.

Are you OK with the Micro? I'm thinking about going with a M223 Nikon 1-4.

Dude, good call. I added up the parts on a couple of my ARs, and my eyes nearly bugged out. Granted, real-deal Aimpoints on LaRue mounts (one has the 3x magnifier too) tend to drive the price up, but going part by part tends to mask the real cost.

But, wait! Increased tacticality can still be achieved!!!

You need magazines clipped together, a Grip-Pod, a Dura-Coat finish in Urban MirageFlage, a laser, and some magnification.

As a matter of fact, that rifle is SCREAMING, "ACOG for teh win!!!!!!!"

:p:p:p:p:p

Seriously, that's a good, functional build, and I really do like the Grip Pod. Looks good, as well!

nice

I'm impressed that you were able to purchase the upper from BCM; it seems a majority of the products on their website are perpetually "out of stock".

How durable do you think the micro dot is? I want one bad, but keep picturing myself accidently dropping the gun and breaking it while running a carbine course. Does the 2 or 4 MOA bother you?

Nice AR ghostman, I recently put one together that is somewhat similar. I used a BCM 16" midlength upper with a 9" LaRue rail, and a Daniel Defense lower. I'm running a Aimpoint H1 on mine, on a LaRue tall mount. I'm also trying out a BattleComp 2.0 comp/flash hider. I've heard great reviews about it, so I figured I'll give it a go.
