I think I am in serious trouble

I spent the afternoon surfing and I've just realised: This is getting out of hand.

Last week I picked up a .22LR Ruger MkIII so that I could get lots of practice shooting yet "save money" compared to shooting 9mm exclusively.

So what have I done this week?
I have found myself 5 potential .22LR bolt action rifles to choose from, a used Saiga 12 or a spankingly nice looking Marocchi pump...... and..... a CZ 858 AK47 clone, in 7,62x39 for less than €330 new.
Add those up and I'd be looking at a total of €1050.
How is that "saving money"?

This is getting waaaaay out of hand.

I actually think I need to spend a bit and go to the range to shoot something as all this window shopping must be some kind surrogacy thing!
If it isn't, I am seriously *****ed...

Why I'm telling you lot is a mystery: I'm not expecting any sensible advice; but rather lots of "buy the lot"!!!:p

If the price is right, buy them now. You could always sell them in the future if you need the money. You'll kick yourself if a good deal gets away.

I'm making the above quote my sig line.

buy the lot..
also to save more money
look for
S&W 41
S&W 17
S&W 18
1960 vintage Hi-Standard supermatics or victors
CZ Kadets
(not a all inclusive list, as it goes on, and on, and on.....)

Glad to help...:)

heh heh, we'll have him handloadin' soon enough! BWUUUUUUHUUUHAHAHA!

very true if he has a 38/357....
they are like potato chips, you can't have just one, and they multiply faster than stuffed animals in a childs room..:D

Personally I think the CZ rifle you found is superior to an AK. They are quite impressive and to call them a clone doesn't do them justice

Buy the AK first. 22s and shotguns are always availible, start at the top of the food chain.

Go to the auction sites, see what you want, set a low willing to pay price and bid, that way if and when you win the bid you get a new to you toy at an affordable price. I have been doing this for about 8 S&W's and a couple of Colts over the past several years, not a lot coming in or cash going out at any one time but enough new toys to keep me happy.

Just to clarify, the CZ is NOT an AK clone, nothing in common with the AK except caliber. Excellent rifle, we know it as the vz-58 over here.
What's the Euro trading against the dollar for, so I can get a feel for your prices?

Well kinda. I was in a hurry. glad you cleared that up the VZ-58 doesn't deserve such insults!

I had both problems....... turns out, one is a cure for the other.

.......Soak unwanted stuffed animals in water, and take out side in January ...... get your .357 and go on a winter safari......

Saiga how much is that? in the US they jumped to $800 last year and now around $600~$800 :/

I remember the good days when they were only $450 lol Should have bought one then.
