I shoot low with a revolver, high with a semiauto. How best to improve?

Well I will be a monkey's uncle. Turns out my problems were all mechanical, not human. I replaced the recoil springs in my old Bersa and P89 with new ones and just like that the elevation problems vanished. Apparently recoil springs do not like sitting in a gun for 15 years without being used.

So what I thought was a flaw in my grip turned out to be a sight-height issue in the revolver and a recoil spring issue in my pistols.

Of course I still need lots of practice and will take advantage of the good advice in this thread but at least now I have a level playing field to work with.
