I refuse to buy a ugly revolver!

i think the lcr is more funny lookin' than ugly. it's hard to accept the concept of a plastic framed revolver. being a ruger though, i'm sure it's of the highest quality materials and build quality.
i know ugly guns.... i have a hi-point c9 and an nef r92.

Ah, the ugly ones are the ones you get and use / abuse 'cause you don't care if they get dinged, since they're already so damned ugly. I have a Glock 20 that I'll drag thru the thorns, thistles, mud, muck & gravel because it works but it's never been or ever gonna be pretty. My 1911, OTOH, I really enjoy the looks of, so I won't abuse it at willingly.

Pretty guns can be abused if the need arises, but when you can get an ugly one to start with, why not abuse them?

I have an LCR and it looks fine. My best looking revolvers are my Peacemaker clone and my 1860 Army. But LCR's are not ugly. Glocks are ugly.

No, the LCR is very ugly. It is worse than Glock.

But, its looks do not detract from the LCR's effectiveness as a concealable revolver.

LCR

I love 1911s,got many, EDC a Colt New Agent .45 Got a LCR in .38 & one in .357. Both LCRs are handy, light & good shooters love em, not ugly.

Sighting down my Gen 1 Glock 30 is like looking down an aircraft carrier deck. Ugly but one fine shooter. My LCR's looks have grown on me...like an old hound dog I guess....I don't even think about how it appears anymore..

I didn't like my S&W 638 HunchBack of Notre Dome. now I make love to it every night!

I used to work with a bunch of dudes. They would criticize just about every females looks (to much, not enough) that came threw the doors. Boy, you should have seen the way they looked like.

I don't like the way the LCR looks either, but I can see your coming around to a gun that fits your needs.

TBS, what do you think about a S&W R8 that I own one. And,....I just bought a Block that I've wanted since they came out before some of you were ever born?

To the OP I'd like to see a photo of you:eek:. LOL

The Rhino is the ugliest firearm I have ever laid eyes on!!

Meh. I think they look cool. I also like LCRs. Now I personally think most cowboy single action revolvers are ugly (barrel and cylinder sits too high) but that is my opinion.

I threw up when I fists saw The LCR .38 but picked up the better looking .357 after I had a Taurus hammerless crane failed on me(I liked that gun). The weight difference, sights, and trigger have made me a convert! She don't look so ugly no mo.
