I picked up two new Taurus this weekend!

Went to the gun show this weekend with the intent to only get the Raging Judge Magnum and could not pass up a deal on both the Magnum and the Public Defender Poly. Walked out with both for $1025 after tax tittle and license so to speak. I can not wait to get to the range with these two and have some fun. I already went on a shopping spree for ammo so I only need to find the time.

I bought my PD Poly just as a "fun gun", but after the first range session I decided that it makes a perfect travel companion next to my truck seat. Something that can really ruin a potential carjacker's day!!! 2 000 Buck first up, backed up by 3 Winchester 225 GR. PDX1 45 Colt.
 
Those two look like they'd be a ton-o-fun to shoot. Nice pictures too. BTW, you still have time to put them in the TFL photo contest for this month.
 
I'm Jealous. I've been looking around town for a 3 inch raging judge for a few weeks now. Guess I'll have to wait for a gun show.
 
A proper range report with each chambering would be great. I always wonder how well it would shoot 45LC and the .454 calibers. Nice looking guns. I'm sure you will enjoy them.
 
Not trying to nitpick, but I want to make sure, so no one gets hurt.

You referred to to Poly Judge as 'Baby Bull' afaik the poly Judge isn't rated for .454 It seemed like you knew that but I wanted to voice it on the off chance you or someone else didn't. Also could you check and see if the .454 chambers in the poly? I don't think it will... I've always been curious.

I don't care for the taurus's ribber grips not sure if you do. good luck with your new guns!
 
Sort of an Old West Bordello look to that case! I thought WOW Taurus is getting fancy! You are a brave man to buy a polymer Judge. We'll see....recoil would be, uh Snappy....
