You can have your own opinion, F. Guffy can have his opinion, and if you don't agree, you can agree to disagree.

Here's what I think you're doing.

You're assuming that the rifle this guy started with was in pristine shape.

You're assuming that he ripped down a stock (or near stock) military rifle to make his piece of bling.

You're assuming that the gun hadn't been so previously bubba'ed that it was less fruitful to salvage it than turn it into a project rifle.

You're assuming that everyone shares your viewpoint lockstep.

You're assuming that yours is the only view point.

Sorry, but that's just a little too much assuming to make for a fruitful thread.

I think we'll just close this one before it gets ugly.
