I Heard Bob Woodward Today - Predictions!

I don't agree about Hillary. I honestly don't think the country will yet elect a female or minority president. I may be wrong, but I just don't see it at this time.

Unfortunately, the Clintons masterminded that "Centrist" game where they seem to stand for all things to everybody...right smack dabb in the middle of the political spectrum. For instance, earlier on in her political career (after New York saddled the rest of us with her), she was pushing the military to spend more money on breast exams than on hardware. She openly hated the military! It worked to get her elected in the Dem party. But now, she is eyeing the big chair and she recognizes that a left winger won't cut it (i.e., Kerry), so she is moving towards the "Gee, I love the military...support the troops, blah blah blah..." The Clintons drive me crazy. You can't trust them farther than you can throw them. At least you know where Gdub stands...and he stands firm. The man can make a decision...right or wrong. That is a respectable attribute for a Washingtonian and for a leader in general. Look at Clinton when we had previous terrorist attacks. What did he do? He launched tomahawks and called it a day...would't want to upset anybody. Imagine what 9/11 would have been like with a Clinton or a Kerry in office!!! Anyway, I will get off my rant.

Does anybody really think Hillary has a chance? I suspect that the right wing will just pelt her with things she said in the past.

If Cheny were younger and in good health, I would probably vote for him. GWB is a man who is interested in the good of the nation, and is not intimidated by polls or those who would rather be critics than doers.

He is one of the better presidents in my lifetime, and hopefully we can get another Republican who is as good in 2008. If so, we will get at least one more conservative Supreme Court Justice, and maybe turn this nation around.

Woodward's predictions are mostly nonsense.

Go for change!

Ron Paul would be a fine president or Texas governor. We need to take back our govt on a state level and keep good sheriffs that will keep the Feds out of our business and keep them from taking our money and then giving it back to us with conditions. Keep out of the worlds affairs and rebuild our country with huge incentives to invent new stuff to bring back our manufacturing business. If we let them keep on going we will all be in our tents waiting for govt hand outs with conditions.
 
Condi really would have a problem. I have read research that suggests, unfortunately, that 20% of the conservative slice of the GOP won't vote for an African-American, no matter what the politics.

That would make her hard to elect.

IMHO - neither party is worth spit. We are facing global crises and the GOP tries to get elected over controlling sex but fumbling the fight against our enemies.. The Dems have no backbone to defend the country. We are doomed.
 
I allways hear the Dems dont have the grapes to defend our country but was a Dem in office on 9-11? also as far as the Dems not being able to deal with the war, Bush cant control that so how could you assume that the Dems couldnt? are we so blind we cant see whats happening in the NOW?
