I have sinned

George Hill

Staff Alumnus
I'm a villain.
I suck.
I should repent.
Here is the thing.
I knew a fellow selling a Glock.
I knew a fellow wanting that specific Glock.
Normally I make introductions so the two paries can make a direct exchange.
This time - I brokered the deal as a middleman and made 100 bucks profit.

The buyer got the gun he wanted at the price he was expecting. The seller sold the gun at the price he wanted... So both parties are fine. But...
I could have saved a Patrolman a hundred dollars. Now I have guilt.

>sigh<

The pitfalls of free enterprise... :)

Feel bad cause it was a Glok to a friend, or cause you made a bill by virtue of your knowledge?

You will be reporting the additional income of course.

Sam...leave no duck unplucked

Blah Blah, go forth, sin no more.

Send your ill-gotten profits to a pro-gun organization.

If you don't, FUD, the Prince of Insufficient Illumination, will darn you to heck.

Beware the man with the S&W .357 Mag.
Chances are he knows how to use it.

George,

(Meaning no offense to anyone's religious heritage)
Say ten Hail J. M. Browning's and sin no more. ;) ;)

A Glock? :(

Now you're going to have to report this as earned income to the IRS; and I'll need to see a copy of you FFL license too.

;)

It was a Glock - that being the sin is debatable...
But really - I kinda took advantage of the Officer... He wanted the G36... so he paid for it.

The 100 is going to go to a new paintball gun.

No - I would not own another Glock.

The humble Glock is the arm of the truly pious noblemen.
The custom 1911 is the arm of the hauty and profaine, the overly adventerous and the wanderer.
To cast-off the 1911 in favour of the Glock is a saintly action and will lead to salvation.

Sin? Uh-oh. I plan to take part in just such a transaction involving a couple pre-ban guns that will make you drool. Badly. will post details in a couple weeks if the deal goes through. In the meantime we can both worry over who is the biggest capatalist scum........

Hey, what kind of paintball gun? :)

George H.,
I have consulted the magic crystal eight ball three times as prescribed.
And it says, " You may rely on it!" and "All signs point to yes!"

I threw out the third answer as it did not apply.

Buy the man a box of ammo to go with the Glock and that'll buy off that feeling of guilt...at least it will assuage(?) the little sucker.

You done good...not be a good little capitalist and hook up some more buyers and sellers so that you can buy some more "Boy Toys."

Somehow... when I read this topic.... I just KNEW it had to do with George and the dark side of tactical tupperware. At least you did not fall into the darkness George. Your soul is still secure. :D :D

Bubba

Just kidding folks... I don't REALLY hate tupperware. Honest. I just wouldn't give one to someone I LIKED... :D

George, George, say it ain't so. You're a Captilist Pig straw purchaser with a concious! The Demo's will have a field day! I thought a Glock was one of them plastic guns that was outlawed several years ago! Ride a young horse while you're saying those 3 "hail John Browning's"!

Behold, there will be those who decry the Glock for it's frame made of the materials of man.
They speak in boastfull and pridefull words, saying: Only the gun of steel frame, like unto the 1911, is a worthy gun.
Heed these words not, for the pampered and polished, the pistol of ponderous cost, jamms when the time is grave.
Those that take up a pistol for the cost and trend thereof have bought merely a decoration.
Those that take up the Glock have chosen the weapon of fighting merit, focused on the battle not on the style thereof, and will be triumphant.

By my will alone I set me rounds in motion.
By the stainless steel my words aquire speed.
It is by my will alone that I set my rounds in motion...

The paintball gun?
I'm Torn... Seriously Torn.
I want the Spyder Compact 2000.
Yet I want Tippman's Flatliner barrel system.
The cool thing is that either marker will accept the WARP FEED system and a remote line.

<ferengi> sounds like a sound application of the first rule of acquisition </ferengi>

by a tippmann 98 and flatline it later

spyders 39.95 you to death

Shin Tao,

YOU are indeed a wise man. George, shame on you for letting a Glock slip through your hands for the profit of it! ;) Glocks only get away from me due to..uh, that is....never mind.

Deffinately the Tippman. Spyders look cool, but all the Spyder's around here are in the shop more then in the field. Tippmans are the rental gun here because they are reliable and simple.
