I have Glock fever, need advice

My Glock 17 had two FTF in the first 100 rounds, it's since shot probably at least 3000 rounds without a bobble with a number of different types of ammo. It's still the one I keep handy for home defense, if I can't stop them with 18 rounds of HydraShok, I'm probably toast anyway! :)

Get a 19 unless you want to carry it on your ankle or something. To be honest, the only subcompact I would even consider is the 33. Of course, that's just my preference.

Lot of folks get the compact models (19,23,32) and consider them to be the perfect compromise for what your talking about, competition and concealed carry.

What I've noticed lately though is a lot of people finding a full size gun (17,22,31,35 etc.) and a subcompact (26,27) to be a better choice.

I'm in the first crowd with my 23, but money permiting I would have bought a 27 and 35 to have every base covered a little better.

I feel the compact models (19/23/29/30/32) are the most versatile of all others in the Glock line for the average Joe/Jane. They make fine duty/home defense sidearms and are easy to conceal in a CCW role. Just pick your caliber and go..

You can't go wrong with a Glock 19, the perfect size for CCW and everything else! The Glock 26 does have a mystical appeal, it's just so damn sexy! I have both, and you will too!

The best way to get over Glock fever is to buy an HK. I did.

What the hell would I want with a Glock?

I sold My usp in 45. I used to carry it on duty. But It was not as easy to shoot as well as my glock because of the DA sa trigger pull. It also had a lot more recoil and muzzle flip than a glock 21 due to hits high bore axis and top heavy feel. While I still respect the HK as a reliable accurate sidearm. I would not carry one again. Glocks are better ihmo.

Here's my "Glock Family", the G17, G21, G26, & G30. I got most of the bases covered. :D

T-man,

If you're in the market for a G-19 cheap, I know where you might be able to get one for $5.:D Check out my signature line below.

Purchase a SIG. It cures Glock addiction by relieving the incessant urge to purchase more because of suffered feelings of inadequacy. The down side is that the SIG altar is optional equipment while it is standard issue with Glocks.

Pssst. Ever wonder why you always see the 'all' HK booth and the 'all' Glock booths at gun shows while an 'all' SIG booth is notably absent?

Divided guilt.

Permission for the overly sensitive to surface. Just watch for Japanese trawlers.

Go with the G19. You will find it an excellent weapon and IMHO in an almost perfect size. I have a couple of G23s and a G27. The G27 was bought for concealment and has been a big disappointment. Don't get me wrong, it's a great weapon, but for concealment the Kahr MK9 is a far better choice.

Because the booth and all its products rusted away to nothing before they could oil the whole place? :D

I sold a 26 a while back, later bought a 23 and a 27. The 23 fits my hand better than anything else I have, but the 27 goes with me a lot more.

I have a G26 that I like alot:D

I'm hoping to win a G19:p

My advice to you is get the G19 first, then get the Glock 26, then get a bunch more.
