I got a great deal on a Henry H001 .22 lever action at walmart.

I've had my Henry H001 for 12 years, or close to that. Probably have 10,000ish rounds through it. Only issue I ever have is gunk build up under the extractor after shooting several hundreds rounds without cleaning.

Mine came with the plastic barrell band and front sight, which worked ok, but looked a little cheesy. I called Henry to get a price on the metal sight/band that only came on the .22 Mag version at the time, and they insisted on sending me one for free.

Think I paid $165 for it new, it's been worth every penny.

Another great thing about the H001 is that it's fun to customize a bit to give it a bit of flare.

My local Walmart doesn't even carry firearms. After reading this it makes me want to call around and find one that does so I can check out one of those Henrys

Do people really keep track of the rounds through there 22's?
Depends on the .22 and the person.

My Rossi 62SAC... no idea. Lots. A very conservative estimate would be 40,000 rounds. I'd lean more toward about 75,000+ for the real number.

My first Browning Buckmark, absolutely. 129,000 rounds and counting. The amount of use it gets has diminished significantly in the last 5 years, but it still gets used. Speaking of which... I need to update the total. I put 80 rounds through it on my second-to-last range trip, but couldn't get to my whiteboard at the time.
