They also add the steel trigger and SS guide rod, stiffened the safety so it won't get accidently knocked off and did a trigger job. It had a very crisp 5# trigger The front sight is a Novak, and the rear is a cut down 1991 sight, really works well on the gun. The slide finish actually does have somewhat of a plum color to it, though the photo makes it appear more so. It really looks fine to me, and the gun shoots great.
