I Became a Member of the 327 Federal Magnum Club Today

I never understand why any thread about the 327 always drags out the guys who dont want them and makes them feel the need to chime in about all the reasons they dont want one.

Its not like people who want a 327 have that as the only choice they can have for a fire arm.

It fills a nitch that some ( ME) find useful and fun.
Just because I have three of them does not mean I will all of a sudden throw out my 38 specials or 357 magnums. Or some how make it so I cant find my 1911's or my M92's.

Same kind of reactions happen when talking about the 300 Black out.
Every one jumps out of the wood work to disparage the option.

Funny though, I shoot my 327's and 300 Black out more than all the rest combined.
We must know some thing they dont...;)

I will say though if for some reason I could only have one hand gun. It would be the SP101 in 327 magnum. It can fill a whole lot of roles.

I (long ago) came to the conclusion that it has never been about .327 Federal (or fill in the blank with any subject that gets disparaged) it is far more about what some people wish to say in an open forum and how they like to conduct themselves.

I could make a long list of gun things that I don't care for, all with their own reasons -- and I'm happy to discuss those items when it is relevant. But you won't see me posting in topics of Mosins, AK's, shotguns, Sigs, HK's, wildcats, suppressors, body armor, Kimber, mouseguns, black powder, etc etc etc... because those subjects don't interest me a whole lot.

It's not .327 so much.
It's just... people. <sigh>

Well... It was storming outside today, and I spent some time looking at different options, and reading reviews. I decided that a Single Seven would be a lot of fun, so I ordered a 7.5"

I enjoy shooting paper, and an occasional groundhog. I think the Single Seven will be perfect for both.

It will be :) . All I shoot out of my 5 1/2" Single Seven is .32 H&R Mag though. I reload. I keep the velocity from 1000fps to 1100fps for both 100g and 80g bullets. About right for this gun in my opinion. I call it my reloadable .22 ;) as my .22s are now mothballed until more .22 ammo becomes available. Now if Henry would make a .32 H&R Mag Frontier rifle :) . Have a .32 H&R mag baby Vaquero too which is lots of fun.
