..to those who see the threat of open borders to our country's future....I enourage the same to log on and make a donation to the Minuteman project...they are doing good work in showing the problem in the light and embarassing the government(which should be profoundly ashamed) and our chicken-hawk president and congress...support those leaders who promote sound immigration reform and denouce those who are bought by corruption...i.e...bush, mccain, kennedy, etc...they are NOT America's friends!!..the day of grace to those who squander this country's greatness is over...it is easy to find their site and you can send it in the mail or use a card..I am not a member but certainly appreciate their efforts...

yeah. lets donate to a group of weekend warriors looking to run around the desert armed under the guise of detering the one group of people entrance to the greatest country alive. that one group who will actually do a hard days work and do the jobs that NO americans think they should have to. that one group who work at slave wages so you can have fresh grapes for less than 10 bucks a bunch or apples that dont cost $12 a pound.

You are all angry, i understand that. but have the nuts to point the finger at the real culprits. the lazy no good people who are pumping out babies, living in governmet housing, collecting welfare and foodstamps, ripping of workers comp boards nationally, filing for disability dailey and screaming at the top of their collective lungs "INCREASE THE DOLE".
 
pse, are we lucky to have hospitals shutting down, hispanic gangs growing, prisons filling with illegals, wages becoming depressed. Illegals on welfare, getting free health care, how much does that cost us? Illegals don't even pay taxes, and on top of that, they send our mney back over the border.

PSE, have you been paying attention to the arguments? No one is saying that Mexicans should be prevented from entering the country entirely, we just think that if they do enter the nation, they should do so legally. And it isn't just Mexican illegal aliens we have a problem with, it is all illegal aliens. We have a right to know who is entering our country. If American citizens are required to show a passport upon entering their own country, why should we allow illegal aliens to continue to enter the nation unchecked?

You use fear tactics by saying that the prices of apples and grapes will raise to absurd ammounts. Well, what percentage of apples and grapes consumed in any form are actually grown on American soil? I can drive a few miles and go to a local apple orchard an buy cheap apples, cider and apple sauce when they're in season and guess what, no illegal aliens are employed there. In fact not one legal immigrant is employed there either. I know it is just one orchard out of thousands in this great nation of ours, but I'd be willing to bet that there are many others like it.

And you don't even point the finger at the real culprits. The corporations and businesses that hire illegals and keep up the demand for cheap illegal labor. And maybe if these corporations wouldn't hire so many illegals for dirt cheap and payed Americans fair, living wages we wouldn't have so many people on welfare. If a business if having trouble filling an open position, they need to raise the wage they pay for that position. Instead the businesses break laws by hiring people who break laws and encourage others to break laws. That is a really wonderful solution that we should be thankful for.:barf:

I don't get what's the point of catch and release when they just come right back. I get my kicks outta pissing people off as much as anyone else but...wouldn't they make a bigger diff by getting your wives to not by fresh fruits and veggies or busting up some construction sites (or that corner where they getpicked up from)

There are lots of Americans who would take those jobs "that NO Americans want". I know a few myself. Some of them will even work "under the table" just like the illegals. But they can't. The illegals won't let them. The press NEVER reports on this. But it is out there. I know people who have been forced from jobs by the hispanics. Under threat. Those "poor honest folk who just want to work" can be as bigoted, clannish, and rude as any other people you can name. Where they are the majority of the workforce, it is the "anglos" who get s**t on. Nobody talks about it, but believe me, it goes on.

EVERY group has good people, and bad people. That is the nature of people. To believe otherwise is delusional.

Two weeks ago I watched Clinton, Kennedy, Shummer, at the pro illegal alien rallies, these liberal dems support this lawless behavior. Six months ago Hillary blasted conservatives for not enforcing the immigration laws. Now Hillary and her sorry Klan are begging on their knees to keep illegal aliens here, and at the American tax payers expense. Shame on liberal/dems.

The welfare crowd you speak of, along with all the sorry social programs that go with, were brought about by the same anti-American pro socialist dems that want to pave the road for illegals.

OK im w/ you as long as we do away w/ the welfare leeches and people on lifetime unemployment or fake disability. drive through any housing project and see how many able bodies are allowed to not work because of out welfare system. make them work and ill go down to TX and send back every mexican that tries to cross a line in the sand.

That being said, his point was that it's kinda silly to try so hard to stop the hemmoraging of our hard taxed money on one end when it's still coming out every other. Combined with the sentement that everyone here is all about 'blaming the mexicans', like that's going to accomplish ANYTHING. Anyone catch cnn last nite where they showed the kinda plump white guy in Georgia who moved outta this super-nice neighborhood, due to the illegal problems? Cute lil daughter. Will prob go to school with one of the people that made his dad so uncomfortable. Hope they hit it off...

im not here to name call. you state that your position is to expell any nondocumented worker and repel any from crossing illigally into our country.
my position is that that action will leave us w/o a work force willing / able to do the jobs that are being done now. in essence forcing the companies that hire illigals to raise wages in an effort to lure people to work for them. i contend that no amount of wage increase is going to entice people who dont want to work or who are so dependent upon a social wefare system they just cant see getting up in the morning to do a job and if they could they wouldnt do it well.
no name calling. period. if my position makes me liberal to you, oh well.
