Hunter Turrets

I purchased yesterday a Savage 11 Trophy Hunter with Nikon 3 9 40 scope.
I have a 10 day wait here.
But I'm trying to change the turrets. Well, just accommodate them.
It has a hunter scope with turrets that are inside and can be turned with a coin or screw driver. I suppose also a tool that would fit over the turret, with a coin shape part under it could be used.
However, I can find no such tool.
I also can't find any info about just unscrewing the adjuster, and putting on, temporary, a larger cap, with markings on the outside.
It is a hunter rifle, so it has the hunter covers so the turrets cannot be turned or bumped in the field.
But for target use, I would like a tool, or screw on adapter.
Does anyone know where such a thing can be found?
Thanks

If your scope is made by Burris, some of their scopes can be factory converted to turrets (the type you want). I checked into it for the Burris optic on my varmint rifle....it was a $50 charge and they pay return shipping.

This is a photo of the type of turrets I have.
Is there a tool that would simply sit over the round steel ring, with a tang that would fit the coin slot, that would make it easier to turn?
That's really what I'm looking for. The caption on the photo mentions that he thinks these turrets need a tool to turn them.
That is basically what I am looking for. And it would be less than the $76 for the high turrets.
I don't really want the high turrets, just something simple to make it easier to turn those.

I use a penny or dime to adjust my turrets and from the photo you posted I think you can too. There is no special tool that I know of needed.

I don't know of a tool like you mentioned, but I'm sure a local welding shop could fabricate you one for pretty cheap. You could draw out a quick sketch and make it pretty simple so it stays cheap.
