How will you spend the evening of Nov. 7?

After work, I'll stop home and grab a bite to eat, then go off to the range and take target practice for an hour or so. I figure that significant poll results won't really start rolling in until after 9pm Eastern time, so I may as well do something fun for a while.

Relax at home. Traffic will be hell. Call the girlfriend who will have to drive an hour to vote and celebrate a Bush/Cheney victory.

I had planned to spend the day doing some work at a fellow gunsmith's shop Tuesday. But he and I talked today at a gunshow and decided we would both be too keyed up to get anything done. He's also a Baptist minister and would probably not appreciate any of the cussing I'll be doing over some of the states returns. ;)
So I'm planning on spending the day with the televison tuned into the returns, watching the returns on the Internet and checking in here.....a lot. I had just assumed there would be a TFL watch party of sorts.

I will unfortunately be in my US History class until well after 9PM. I may skip out early though. I can drop my lowest two grades, so I figure if I make a zero on my quiz, no big deal. All the rest of my grades are well above 90%, so I may skip. I'll figure it out soon enough.

WTF? Praying? Either you guys are taking the election way too seriously, or I'm not taking it seriously enough...

I'm gonna be relaxing at home, watching the election coverage.

Edit: Right, its a tuesday. I'll be in my Computer Science class until at least 12 AM EST. Oh well, there goes that plan.

I wish I could answer you which of the above it is, but I don't know how seriously you're taking it.
Gore plans to take away you're guns, and if he's given 8 years, you won't have alot left unless we fight-Politically OR OTHERWISE. After 8 years of his reign, the law abiding citizens can probably expect to have Single shot rifles, Black powder rifles, and microchips tracking their every move. They'll probably be kept at the local cop shop, and you'll have to apply for the priviledg to use them atleast 5 working days in advance. During which time, they'll call and interview everybody you know, and see if you've had any disagreemants in the past 18 months. You'll go through mental and physical exams, and then maybe, if your reason is good enough, you can take your gun out for a couple hours. Yeah, I know, this is worst case scenario, but this was the step before total confiscation in Brittain. The current Washington administration has already said that you legally have no right to own guns, or that's their stance on it, so don't think they won't try. I would bet thousands of dollars that if gore gets the white house for 8 years, he will try and pass a full registration on firearms, ownership ID's and/or FBI/ATF file keeping records on them. They want you're guns. And they have to start slowly to get them. Vote Bush, and take your freedom VERY seriously.

It's not just the firearms, well, mostly it is, but the tax crap gore is going for is a bunch of junk too. I don't want to sound insensitive, but all those tax breaks he's giving to working mothers, and free medication, and all this. Yeah, nothings free, and it's the hard working americans who pay for it. I don't mind paying taxes that build rooads, or schools, but I don't want to buy a house, a car, food clothes, and a better education than I have for some "poor single mom whose trying her best to raise a family." Once again, I don't want to sound like an ass, but if the lady can't support the kids, why'd she have 12? If she's a single mom, why isn't the state cracking down on the dad, and making him pay too? I don't think it's fair that we have to pay for some peoples mistakes when we are trying our best to raise our families, and save OUR money.
This, That, and the other, are all a mixed bag of reasons why I'm voting on tuesday. And yes I'm praying, I'm not thinking that God is going to rig the election, but hopefully people are seeing the truth when they cast their vote. I'm very glad that this is a free country, and the majority can decide how they want things run, but I hope they want what I want, but of course, who don't?

If the worst comes, there's always Generalissimo Lawdog. ;)

I probably won't pay much attention to the returns until after midnite EST, because the polls on the west coast don't close until 9 my time, and it has to take at least a couiple of hours to count everything up. After I vote, there's nothing I can do about the outcome, so swearing and throwing stuff at the TV won't really do much good anyway.

I think I will be spending it on my knees praying to God that Bush wins.

I’ll be cleaning my guns as I watch the election returns. That will help me
remember that 90% or more of the residents in the United States do not
deserve to be called Americans.

We have permitted, facilitated, and even rejoiced in election after election
where our choice is limited to either a major or a disastrous loss of our Rights
freedoms and independence. Americans worthy of the title would have forced
elections to restore what our Founding Fathers created for us.

If Gore wins, I’ll buy more ammo. A lot more.
If George wins, I’ll wait until he signs more gun legislation and then rub the
noses of his supporters in it. Each bill, every time.

And on November 11th, I will go to our little cemetery, seek out each
veteran’s grave and through tears of shame I will whisper, “I’m sorry.”
